Furniture.
Case pieces, tables, huntboards, sideboards, and cabinets — built to be handed down. Traditional joinery throughout, and every project starts with a specific piece of wood we chose to build around.

Federal card table.
Quilted mahogany with inlays of gaboon ebony and pearwood. Roughly 200 hours to complete — every inlay started as rough-sawn lumber, and the piece was hand-routed to accept each one, at the client's request that it be built as closely as reasonably feasible to techniques used during the Federal period.
A matched pair
Brother & sister hall tables.
Quilted maple, curly walnut, and gaboon ebony — floating tops on tapered walnut legs. The pair was cut from bookmatched slabs and joined with ebony bowties; the two consoles are siblings by construction and by material.

Curly walnut live-edge coffee table.
A family-room piece in figured walnut, built for a family with several teenage boys. Per the client's brief: built for punishment. Heavy trestle base, thick top, finished tough.

Curly cherry glove table.
A bow-front hall/glove table in curly cherry. Tapered legs, deep apron, hand-rubbed oil finish that lets the ripple move under the light.

The same bow-front form in flame maple — a lighter, more electric sibling to the cherry version above.
Dining
Curly cherry & curly walnut dining tables.
Two dining tables, two families — one in curly cherry with matching upholstered chairs, one in figured curly walnut on a heavy trestle with iron-and-wood side chairs. Both built around a specific top.

Walnut sideboard.
Solid walnut with tiger maple drawer fronts, raised-panel doors, and hand-cut dovetails throughout. Brass Chippendale pulls, cove molding at the top, tapered legs.

Solid mahogany hutch.
A two-piece hutch built in solid mahogany, with a curly mahogany case top that catches the light differently from every angle. Ogee cornice, mullioned glass doors on the upper cabinet, raised-panel doors and hand-fit drawers on the base, ogee bracket feet. Hardware is extruded solid brass — swan-neck bail pulls on the drawers, batwing drop-pulls on the doors.
